Regents Canal is the blue vein running through London, from East London’s cultural and coolest centre to the idyll parks of West London. Though silently working away as a foothold in the ever changing London landscape, this year celebrates 200 years of its creations. Originally created to carry imports and materials, to open up London in ways never thought imaginable, it transforms to be a watery playground for poetry and performance, dance and art. Walk along its bank and pass through a world of fantasy from East London to West and see the city unravel like it never has before. Clearly the canal is still unlocking London as it did the first day it opened.
