Meet Luke Caulfield, a new young artist who has been taken under the wing of street art Godfather Steve Lazarides at his gallery Lazarides Rathbone. Caulfield is known for his imagery of the alter ego and since graduating from Slade in 2000 has been impressing critics with his works that peer into the inner psyche, particularly the teenage angsty psyche that we all push aside we all secretly indulge. Caulfield’s work has a hint of the macabre and deals with the darker side of life be that looming spectres arising from hell or a quivering ghost lost in the wilderness. There’s certainly something in Caulfield that taps into every soul, wandering or otherwise.
