When the Exhibition Road was built it caused a lot of debate. Its open plan layout, that saw car lanes merge with pedestrian footpaths raised concerns amongst money. Years later its become more than apparent the worriers needn’t have bothered as the changes have increased footfall to the streets and the institutions that come off it. Celebrating this is the Exhibition Road Show running concurrently, and acting as perfect anecdote, to the Olympics. Nine days of art, music, science and more on Exhibition Road.
