It wasn’t so long ago that Charles Saatchi visited the degree show of Goldsmiths University and snaffled up the work of a new band of artistic brothers. That band was called the YBAs- the Young British Artists- and they went on to change the face of art as we know it. The degree still remains the pivotel moment between the new crop and the mainstream, and for many it is the must-see in the art calendar. Tonight, Chelsea School of Arts open their doors, and as one of the leading art schools in the UK will be sure to raise more than a few eyebrows.
