Los Campesinos! shot to fame in 2006 for their humble genuineness. Seven kids and a glockenspiel, their early sounds could be seen as a fledgling Arcade Fire, with an added celebration of the brattish, in tongue in cheek lyrics centred around being young. As they’ve grown up, so has their sound becoming more serious in tone. This latest album, Hello Sadness, can be seen as the greatest departure, focusing on love and loss (and a bit of football) and the live show follows a string of sellout dates.
